Outlook Mail Configuration Settings

On your Outlook go to Tools, Account settings, select your account and click change for an existing account and then review the following settings:

For a new account go to Tools, Account settings, Click New, then click Next, select Manually configure server settings or additional server types at the bottom left and click Next, and finally review the details in the fields.

Note: Same settings apply for Outlook 2007-2013

Your Name:Â Enter Name i.e. names as will be appearing to the intended RECEPIENT
Email:Â YourName@domain.com

Account Type: POP3
Â
Incoming Mail Server: mail.domain.com i.e. mail.domain.com

Outgoing Mail Server: mail.domain.com i.e. mail.domain.com

 Logon info
Â
If “YourName@domain.com " does not work, try “YourName+domain.com ") i.e. YourName@domain.com or YourName+domain.com

PASSWORD: Enter Your Correct Password Here e.g **********

Proceed to “More settingsâ€

General Tab
Â
Make sure the address is “YourName@domain.com†i.e. YourName@domain.com

Outgoing server Tab
Â
Select “outgoing mail server requires authentication†and “use same settings as my incoming mail serverâ€.

Advanced
Â
Incoming server (POP3): 110 for POP3Â Â (143 for IMAP)
Outgoing server (SMTP): 25 (If 25 does not work, try 26, as some ISPs block port 25)

On Delivery set “Leave a copy of mail on serverâ€

Click ok, then on Test account and then ok/finish when it completes testing.

NOTE: The only thing that changes is the email address and password to the corresponding ones.

For Signature on Outlook 2007 go to Tools, Options, Mail Format, then on Signature, Add “New†and give the signature a name i.e. all. Save, and in the text box below add your Signature. On the top right under “Choose the Default signature†select the email account and assign the signature you have created (All) from the Dropdown arrows labeled “New Messages†and “Replies/Forwardsâ€. Finally click on Ok and you can now sent emails with your customized signature.
 To configure send receive on Outlook 2007 go to tools OPTIONS then MAIL SETUP and click on the Send/Receive button then set the counter to 1 Minute on the first option where it reads 30 minutes.
