Redirecting a domain

Domain redirects are used to point a URL to a specific location. For example you can point www.example.com/sales to point to www.example.com/products.

  1. Login to cPanel and click the Redirects icon.
  2. In the blank, enter an optional path and file name; this exact name must be typed to trigger the redirect.
  3. In the large blank, enter the full URL for the redirect target; include http:// or https:// eg http://www.peakanddale.com
  4. Click the Add button and you are done.

Your visitors will now be redirected to your new domain.
