What is an addon domain?

An addon domain is simply an additional domain that is hosted within your control panel. An Addon Domain has its own file path, location, and file set that can be used to store a web site, images, documents or anything you want. It is almost like having another hosting package sharing your main user control panel.

However, note that addon domains will be handled like subdomains by the server. They do not have their own cPanel.
