What is a parked domain?

A parked domain is an inactive domain that is reserved for later use by pointing it or 'parking' it in your existing hosting account. For example, the domain name for your hosting account is "domain.com" and you also have registered "domain.net". You may point domain.net to the domain.com IP address. Internet users will be able to access your Web site using either domain name.
